im jocelyn and i like women and scifi. 20,
they/them, compulsive gif maker, srs coffee addict, multifandom mess. currently having an emotional break down known as warehouse 13.
Hey this is just a quick note to explain what that "they/them" means. Quite simply I identify as genderqueer, instead of being a man or a woman I'm like a crazy mix of both without truly being either. As such I ask that people use they/them as pronouns for me when talking about me in the 3rd person.
So instead of saying "That Jocelyn, she's so cool" or "He has a great blog" you would say "That Jocelyn, they're so cool. They have a great blog".
(I get that this can be hard at first, but try to imagine what it would feel like if someone always called you 'he' when you're a girl, or 'she' when you're a boy. When people misgender or mispronoun me it increases my dysphoria and is actually really problematic for me.) If you want to know more, feel free to ask me!
